Our Network
The Business-Higher Education Forum (BHEF) is the nation’s leading executive network aligning education and workforce strategy. We connect top companies with presidents, chancellors, and provosts of forward-looking colleges and universities to solve one of today’s most pressing business challenges: building a competitive and responsive talent pipeline.
If your organization is ready to lead—and not just react to—the future of work, BHEF is your partner.

Who Should Join
BHEF is an institutional membership network led by senior executives. Member institutions include:
- Industry-leading companies focused on long-term talent strategy
- Top colleges and universities, including public and private 2- and 4-year institutions and system leaders
- Education and HR technology firms powering scalable workforce solutions
- National and regional partners advancing talent and innovation strategies
- Mission-aligned investors and funders supporting education–workforce transformation
Each membership is led by a member champion, a senior-level executive who leads the institution’s engagement in the network to fully maximize the experience.
Network Membership Options
BHEF provides two tiers of membership: a core membership for businesses and higher education institutions and a supporting partner tier designed to welcome strategic partners to the BHEF network.

How to Join
Most BHEF charter members are nominated by existing BHEF members. If your organization is not currently connected to a member but interested in joining, you may still apply to be considered. For business members, dues are calculated using a sliding scale based on domestic workforce size. For higher education institutions, dues are calculated on a sliding scale based on a combination of total enrollment and annual expenditures.
BHEF’s Strategy & Membership Committee regularly reviews submissions and extends invitations to qualified organizations. BHEF’s EdTech Alliance, Affiliate Membership, and National Impact Council are open to mission-aligned organizations and accepted on a rolling basis.
