Business Roundtable Milwaukee Workforce Partnership Initiative
In partnership with BHEF, the Business Roundtable released its case study on Rockwell’s Academy of Advance Manufacturing (AAM), which is a 12-week program that equips veterans with the technical and workplace skills needed to fill in-demand manufacturing jobs. AAM is a residential program based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, created to advance a Rockwell Automation priority: employ more people with military backgrounds. Over the six years of the AAM program, which is conducted in partnership with ManpowerGroup, success includes:
- More veterans employed: 441 individuals have enrolled in the program, 348 have graduated and 280 are now employed with a Rockwell customer.
- Diversity increased: 38% of participants are people of color.
